**Please note, we know there are kick arse mums worldwide - but this is for AUS entries only.
There's too much to say about my mum. She's crazy! She's smart, she's funny, hardworking, caring, beautiful in every way. I've told her before she's my best friend and she said that's impossible but it's true. After her devorce she became the most strong and independent women I know. She works hard everyday to look after me and my siblings and she does an amazing job! If there's one thing I've learnt from my mum is to be greatful. Growing up with her in my life is all I could ever ask for.
It's time she got a little special treatment I think and I know whatever she gets she will love and never ever complain. I'm not going to write stupid made up stories to convince who ever makes the decision to give my mum this hamper I'm just happy someone will find out how incredible my mum is to me.
Lots of love to all the mums out there
Xox Lily
My mumma’s kick-ass because always walks that extra mile,
Just to see her children smile.
She creates dishes so simple yet divine,
and always ensures that everyone has a fabulous time.
Each wrinkle on her face tells a beautiful story,
She’s a woman who’s always told us that there’s no need to worry,
Like the warm morning sun she is a pleasure,
Having her in my life, every moment I will treasure,
My best friend, role model, my rock and salvation,
She makes every day a celebration.
She helps me fix the things I do wrong,
And encourages always me to smile all day long.
She is strong, positive and brave too,
And she’s always willing to help me and you.
In 2016, she’s striving to be a healthier, fitter and happier human,
So winning this generous prize will help slim down and put a grin on this amazing woman!
The Dark Horse, fierce and exquisite. My mum has taught me to be a warrior. She was exiled from her family as she had me out of wed lock in her teen years. She worked three jobs as a single mum to give me every wish a little princess could hope for and I never noticed her struggle until I could understand life as an adult. Years later she survived a brain hemmorrage. Never depressed, always a fighter. 25 years after my birth she had my little brother at the age of 42. Giving birth too soon and perhaps too late my mum is a pillar of strength that has given her children everything that never was given to her...unconditional love.
My mum is a kick arse artsy mum! She's strong and smart making a living with her beautiful painting. She has taught me that any situation can be made better. This lesson was first taught when my brother scribbled over my favourite page in my colouring in book and she carefully crafted the scribbles into balloons and butterfly's and a whole background scenery. Love you mum xxx
Mum is a kickarse mum as she has brought up 4 chocoholic daughters all by herself. Whether it was going on a choccie run after Saturday netball, or selling chocolates for fundraising for the million different sports we all play, mum is the biggest chocoholic of us all! She deserves to win this hamper as she is a beautiful, courageous human who deserves to be spoiled on Mother's Day! She is a mix of every single flavoured chocolate here as she is talented in every area possible.
Happy Mother's Day!
Love you Mum xo
Thank you!
My name is Xanda and I am 7 and a half. My Grandma is the best mum ever because she builds cubby houses and forts and tells the bestest stories. She helps mum when she is sick and will play with me on the playground. She makes up cool games and cooks my favourite pancakes and I love cuddling her. I know she will be nice and share this prize with my mum too and me. Thank you.
I was born and raised in India. Don't know what type my mum would fall into but definitely the base flavor is chocolate. I am a mum too, and living in Oz. Don't know what type I would fall into as well. But one thing - Most Indian mums (including myself and my mum) are kick arse types in quite a literal sense!
Ok whatever, please send one of your kick arse hamper my way. I shall keep kicking arse til then!
Love
Su
My mum is caring, kind-hearted and selfless! She's amazing and an absolute superwoman!
Unfortunately I can't enter my mum, but I would love to nominate my amazing friend Natalie. She is a gorgeous mum to a little wee man. It's impossible to describe her with only one flavour, because she is a mix of all, but in a perfect balance! She works ha.rd, but always has a smile on her face. She is strong willed, and kindess to all living creatures on this world. She lives a healthy lifestyle in a fun way that inspires not only her family, but everyone to live and enjoy the life in the same way. She is simply an incredible person/mum and the best friend I can imagine! x
My mum is absolutely amazing because she is whatever I need her to be. If there was a magic chocolate bar that changed flavour to whatever you feel like at the time it would be her. She is caring and supportive when I need her to yet she can still be fun and inspiring when I lack motivation. She is also the best daughter you could ask for to my gran. Love you mum!!!
My mum is a fusion of creamy mylk choc and caramel choc. She's an amazing cook who loves filling our family home wit friends, family and food. She also puts others before herself on a frequent basis and is the most caring, kind and supportive mother and friend anyone could ever ask for. I watch on as she cares for her mum (my granny) now as her health is failing and I only hope I can be half the caring daughter one day that she is now.
My mum is the best mum in the world ! She is so caring and will do anything for to help and support me, for example when I was in London and needed surgery on my foot she flew straight over all the way from Melbourne to be by my side ! My mum is also supper creative and makes the most incredible desserts she is a definite chocolate lover her favorite being dark chocolate as there is always a sneaky stash in the cupboard. My mum also gives the best hugs, she deserves the best Mother's Day ever xxx
My Mum is the most kick ass mum ever as she is so very loving, caring, hard working, determined and thoughtful. She always puts the family's needs before hers, no matter how hard things are going. She cooks the most delicious food in the whole entire universe, even on hard late working days. Really.. she does. I can't even explain how yummy her food is. Also, when I am ill, she will think up ways to look after me and constantly check if everything is okay with me. She is always by my side and my family's side no matter what. Lastly, when I felt like giving up on everything, she was the one to tell me that everything is going to be okay and things will eventually fall into place. The words that came out of her mouth just made me say yes. Everything WILL be OK.
She is definitely a mix of Creamy Coconut Mylk, where she is great cook and the house at dinner times sell AMAZING, and Caramel Chocolate, as she listens to every member of our family and gives the BEST advice. I love my Mama bear so very much. I don't know what i would do without her <3 Happy Mother's Day
My mum kicks ass because she's courageous as all hell; from leaving her entire family behind to build a new family in Australia, to going back to school to progress her career, and caring for two of her sick daughters even though it can reduce her to sobbing tears, but never giving up on us. Thank you mum I love you so much
My Mum is the most amazing, loving, caring and hardworking parent I know. There has never been a time in my life where I thought she wasn't there for me, even when she was working and studying, because she was always so selfless and put me first. I am so immensely grateful for everything she has done for me, and she is kickass in every way possible. She inspires me to be a better person and to be give back to the community and the world, as she has always done so without question. She is most like a dark chocolate, so much more under the surface than what you can see, and it is also her favourite too. I try to appreciate her everyday but I would love to make this mother's day extra special xx.
My mumma is the perfect balance of kick-arse and sweetness! She is considerate and sassy, kind and strong, loving and thoughtful. My sister and I admire her beyond words can describe! My mum is the centre of our family, the sticky glue that keeps us all together, and I wish she would know just how truly appreciated she is! Love you, mum!! <3 <3 <3
I know every Mum is special, but I think my beautiful Mum deserves the world. Not only has she overcome breast cancer, after being told her chance of survival was very slim, she has now been dealt a pretty tough hand being diagnosed with a debilitating autoimmune condition that makes everything she does physically exhausting. I became a new mum myself 7 months ago and live 2.5 hours from my parents but that hasn't stopped her traveling the distance every week to come help me out with the little one, even though it is so exhausting for her! She LOVES Loving Earth products so this would spoil her! (Even though I plan on doing that anyway!)
I have an absolutely kick-arse mum, she's not one kind of chocolate, but all kinds! She is a full-time doctor who is always busy - whether it's with work or with us kids. The oldest two in our family have moved out and the younger two- me and my brother- go to boarding school and even though she misses us like crazy she goes out of her way to make sure we are alright and to come see us whenever she can and comes to all our school functions!! She is an absolute legend and I love her to bits!!
Mum is inspiring. She not only provides plentiful love and care for my brother and I, but she also tirelessly strives to help my gran who is requiring more and more assistance as she reaches 90. I don't think I will ever be able to fully show or give enough gratitude to my mum for what she does for our family, but one thing I hope to do is to become a super-daughter for a stupendously super chocolate-loving mum. X
My mum has a smile that lights up the room like a bright yellow LEMON. She's not afraid to be funny and silly. She's definitely a colourful character. I remember her blowing RASPBERRIES on my cheek when I was a child... And I wouldn't put it past her doing it now, even though I'm 32! She likes her music loud and still manages to dance despite being confined to a wheelchair, and having to deal with the pain of arthritis in her shoulders and hands. She's human and isn't perfect. Sometimes she says things that aren't so sweet (like 85% DARK CHOCOLATE). But I know that inside she's all CREAMY and soft at heart. My mum has been through many many struggles in her life. However, no matter how hard life hits her, one thing I know for sure is that her love for me and my sisters remains steadfast and strong. She's a kick arse mum and I love her <3
I couldn't specify what type my mum is, as she is without a doubt everything!!
What makes my mum the most special is her willingness to give everything and expect nothing in return. This amazing women has provided me with amazing opportunities and taught me to tackle them without fear. As a result I have become a strong independent women just like her, and I wouldn't have had it any other way.
❤️ You mum
My mumma is apart of the many kick arse mums around however to me she is special, like Loving Earths creamy chocolate she is warm and inviting, being something everyone loves due to that warmth and kindness she provides. She's strong and puts herself second in every situation without any recognition wanted, very down to earth and how beautiful a mum can be. Her hugs remind me of the good things in the world and the kindness at the core of all, she has shaped me wonderfully and deserves to be appreciated every day of the year. She loves Loving Earth and I love my Mum, the two together is my magic.
I'm almost certain my Mum creates a warm, motherly facade to cover up her straight up kick-ass ability to be supernatural. The multitude of things that woman achieves in a day is beyond human capacity, and is becoming increasingly suspicious. I mean, she works a 60 hour week around the capitals of Australia, whilst mothering four (needy) boys, two girlfriends, one fiancee, two dogs and one (vicious) bird. I go to uni for 12 hours a week, and I can't even take care of myself. However, to highlight my Mum's latest kickass attribute, would be to describe her relationship with my (recent) vegan diet. Having grown up in a family that sucked the marrow out of the bone, my Mum brought us up the same way. So, when, it became apparent to her that my milk came from almonds and my protein came from greens, my Mum was startled. Confused and a little bit worried at first, my Mum thought she was losing her youngest son to some religious cult. However, unlike many, Mum was keen to understand the ways of a plant based diet, and now goes out of her way on a weekly basis to provide hearty, compassionate feeds not only for me, but for the family. Now, this may not seen so kick-ass, but for a woman accostomed to meat and three veg - I really think she deserves appraisal beyond my thank-yous. In a house that is thick with testosterone demanding meat products, Mum knowingly produces plant based feeds to stubborn eaters who connote veganism with femininity and flashes me a wink when the household is fighting for any left overs. Mum, I adore the shit out of you. I hope that I can win you a hamper of Loving Earth goodies to continue your new relationship with alternate, ethical food products this Mother's day.
My mum is completely kick arse. In the space of six months she left her husband who had been emotionally and economically abusive and also a cheater. She became a single mother to my young teenage sister. She had to find full time work quickly as my father does not help provide for my sister. My mum then only out of the love from her heart took in one of my sisters friends and became his foster mother. She is an inspiration
My mum is seriously one incredible woman. Words can not possibly describe what this woman has done for her family. She is strong willed, motivated and so loving towards every single person she comes across. She is for sure a dark 85% with a mixture of caramel because she is soft-hearted. She too is vegan because she could not possibly love one animal, yet harm another. She inspires me and everyone around her to strive to become a better human every day. I love her with all my heart ❤️
My mum is seriously kick ass! She has helped to raise us seven children, run a successful backpackers *3! And is always there for us no matter what. She always gives us her love, support and guidance. My mum is so inspirational especially as she is winning her age group in her running events, including marathons! She now has 7 grandchildren, so hopefully this hamper will help her sit down, relax and enjoy your beautiful chocolate with a glass of wine! She is amazing!
My mother in law is such a wonderful person, she's got an attitude that is definitely kick ass, she keeps everyone rolling and in thier place because we all need a stern hand in life sometimes. She always holds us together and never gives up on anyone, she is always there if you need to talk, or a hug.. she makes the best food ever! (Sorry nanna) she always puts everyone else before herself no questions asked. The past few years have been tough for her, but she never gave up! Mothers are true heros..and she is definitely mine. If what she has gone through had happened to me, well i dont think i would have got through it. She's the mum i never had, and i hope that I'm doing her proud after all her son, who she raised to be the most beautiful man wouldn't be in my life if it wasn't for her, and for that i will be forever thankful. She is truly one of a kind!
I know you wont see this kim, but you are the most wonderful person in the world xxx dont ever change!
My Mum and I just recently backpacked Europe together, for her 50th and my 21st! Traveling with Mum was better than I ever imagined, she always had a endless supply of tissues and chewy, pre booked all of our tours, and provided the love and support that I've been blessed with my whole life. Mum showed me the world, whilst being my world
My mum kicks arse at life! She raised 3 kids on her own in a new country, studied and worked getting TWO degrees and now is a full time teacher helping her students and treating them like they are her own. You couldn't find a more loving, hard working woman. Love you mum!
My mum realised that life is too short to focus on making money. She left ger career as an accountant to raise her 3 kids and initiated a food charity in africa! The charity now serves 10000 plates of warm food a day to the homeless and poor!! What makes her rich is how she is always giving :) shes my hero.
My mum is amazing! She is strong, smart and beautiful. She hasn't just taught me how to be me but she has shown me the way, talks with me; not at me and let's me make my own mistakes. She is my best friend!
My mum is literally kick ass as she's a black belt karate master. But she is also a black belt of the heart and loves my dad, brothers, and me with all she can give. Since I was young she has supported me in whatever I wanted to do and never let me settle for second best. We were both diagnosed with a dairy allergy when I was 12 (I'm now 22) and we've been there for each other every step of the way; from buying sorbet instead of ice-cream to cooking vegan cheesecakes. It feels like we could make it through anything together. I love my mum and I know she has made many sacrifices to have me in her life and watch me achieve what I have. I thank her everyday for being in my life and I hope she's in my life for many more days so we can grow old together and drink pretentious almond milk hot chocolates.
My mum is always putting others before herself. She works so hard both at her job and at home. She raised her own kids and is now raising my three year old nephew while working full time as well. I hope that this Mother's Day she is able to be put at the top of everyone's priority list instead of always making us her priority. Thanks mum and thanks Loving Earth
My Mum is by far the strongest person I have ever known. It still amazes me how a single person can be kind, caring, fun-loving and supportive all while still being strong, independent, fierce and determined at the same time. To say she is kickass is an understatement. She wholeheartedly tackles every obstacle in her path and inspires me every day to be the best person I can possibly be. If I had to choose which flavour of chocolate she is most like, I would definitely say a mixture of Dark and 85% Dark. Which is lucky because her favourite type of chocolate is Dark! To all of you working at Loving Earth, I wish you luck in choosing the winners because let's be honest; every single mother is kickass and they each deserve all the love and appreciation in the world!
As I get older I realise just how kickass my mum is. She is selfless and shows nothing but love and support for myself and my siblings. She is a super busy lady but always makes time for her family.
I guess I could say my mum is both a dark and caramel chocolate kind of girl, according to both her tastes and the given descriptions above, but having said that, she likes all Loving Earth chocolate (who doesn't?!)
However, my mum is a truely exceptional person and does anything and everything in her power to help me and my brother. I have been battling with chronic health issues since I was little, and for all these years she has devoted every moment of her life to be by my side and help me. She has given up the things she loves and needs to do, and doesn't do anything for herself, as she devotes everything to her children with an open, loving heart. My mum has saved my life, she is my best friend, she is everything to me and is so strong in keeping her beautiful, bubbly nature alive while going through so much herself, and she spreads her vivacious nature, smile and laugh to all those that she meets and talks to. My mum is so generous, selfless, courageous, creative, beautiful, and we get on so well, because we both LOVE healthy food and living (due to my illness we have become obsessed with all things health... Mainly food, and obviously, chocolate. Healthy chocolate ;) )
My mum "kicks arse" in every possible aspect of life, despite both our health issues, but they have brought us closer, and I wouldn't be able to survive without her.
Nothing comes near to being able to show my intense and eternal love and gratitude for my incredible, amazing mother, but I'm pretty sure this hamper is the closest thing! <3 xoxo
Her fierce loyalty towards her family and friends was what made my mother 'kick arse'. When her sister passed away, she brought up her sister's children like they were her own. Many years later, she brought me up and stuck by me through thick-and-thin, through my eating disorder health battle, by my father with his health challenges and her own cancer-related health challenges. She was never one to give up hope, keeping the home fires burning right to the very end. She was the best cook, but modest in her abilities and with us both on a dairy-free diet, she was always on the lookout for how to make our food more delicious. Loving Earth chocolate has the answer. Thus, my Mum was a creamy coconut mylk, hazelnut mylk and 85% dark chocolate hybrid :-)
I don't really know where to start here. I can say my mum is the most caring, most beautiful and soulful person i have ever met, but that's not true. Because I have met hundreds of mums that are exactly the same. The only difference is that she's MY mum, and puts up with me and my sister day after day. And everyone is fighting their own battles and I honestly think that everyone's mum on here deserves a great basket of chocolate, and then some! Don't underestimate the sacrifices, the hard work and all the time they've put into raising you. And for this I will always have such utmost respect for them. I love you mum. You deserve the world, and you definately deserve some chocolate. Xxx
My mum is kickass in every way.
She's a gentle woman who is nurturing to everyone around her, she has nourished me into an awesome human being! She's a constant source of inspiration and motivation for me and she is now also a kickass grand ma to my daughter.
In so proud of everything she does.
My mum is kick arse because she's 50 and ready for positive change in all aspects of her life and found her passion in cooking and keeping up to date on her Instagram page to inspire others to eat well and get creative!
Like many women she has definitely gone through a LOT in her life that I can't even put into perspective and still she can choose to look at the positive everyday. She is inspired by other empowering women of today to be strong and work on herself, and leave a positive impact.
She is working towards being an entrepreneur as she is passionate about natural food, products and reusing materials. I am definitely inspired by her and all the other people really making an impact and respecting the food and resources of our world.
Her personality is definitely caramel chocolate as she is definitely nice to grumpy old men.
thankyou loving earth for your positive impact, every mum is equally deserving, but my mum is the biggest chocoholic and really needs this reward to push her to work harder and be confident and independent.
We love your products!
Wish every mum a beautiful Mother's Day and great days in general all the time!
My mum is insanely kickass! She could be defined by a bit of each characteristic for each chocolate flavour! She is so incredible yet unique, and definitely battles her diabetes so well. For her in indulge in these treats that will not spike her blood levels yet taste ridiculously good, would mean the world to her and I, as she deserves to be treated after everything she has done to raise me! :) This would make the best Mother's Day surprise ever, especially with her visiting me in Australia from NZ!
My mum has changed so much in the last two years. She has always been an amazing mum to me and my brother&sister but she hasn't always been a very happy person. She used to work a nine to five stressful office job and keep all her worries to herself so no one had any idea that something might be wrong. It got so bad that it nearly ended her marriage with my dad. Fast forward two years and she is the happiest she has ever been. She has done so much work on herself, she has so many new hobbies and friends, she does yoga and meditation and eats healthier than ever, she has quit her job and is learning to be a yoga teacher. She has been a positive influence on everybody around her, including me, my brother and sister and my dad. Their marriage is now better than ever. I am so proud of her for having the courage to radically change her life like this and I am beyond grateful for all the advice she has given me which as helped me grow so much and become a happier person as well.
My mum kicked ass when she was on her own with three kids under 5. So instead of wallowing, she went to uni, finished a degree to better our lives! I couldn't thank her any more hey, against the odds she prevailed, and so have I because of it.
My mum is kick ass because she is not only my mum but also my best friend in the world! She is the most loving, caring, selfless person i know. She is also super cool and still flirts with 20 year old men when we are out shopping together, despite being in her 50's and happily married for the last 25 years. She has devoted her life to raising her son and five daughters and always puts everyone else before herself. Love you mum, you deserve the world. Happy mother's day!
I love how my mother gave me the craving for chocolate since in the womb! we are both addicted to chocolate so she would love this hamper!! :P <3
My mum has been so supportive of me, she has been there for me every moment and has helped me recover from my eating disorder. We did not have the help from any doctors or services but she would rearrange her whole entire day and week and month to suit me, to help me. She drives my twin and I everywhere, and was there to support my sister as she ran at nationals this year in athletics, and drives me home from my rehearsals even at 11:30 at night!! Not only that but at the same time she was there to support my older sister recover from her brain tumor. She loves eating healthy but also likes to treat herself! She always helps everyone around her, and makes sure that she does at least one good deed every single day. She worked everyday but was bullied out of her job, she works at a new job now, helping people of all ages, teaching english as a second language. She loves helping people and I would love to treat her to this! It would mean a lot! Mums are amazing, I probably wouldn't be here without mine.
Love from Tamana xx
My mum is super inspirational, after having gone to removing her breasts due to cancer risk, i have looked after her with all i can, coming up on mothers day it will be her first one ever without breasts and it makes her truly feel like a failure so i believe a chocolate goodie hamper will definitely cheer her up as her and i both love your chocolates <3
the reason behind what makes my mum kickass, is that she's more than just my mum. at a young age my mother and father split up and he moved away. he was always very unreliable to visit and I would be heartbroken. just like always, my mumma would pick up the pieces and make my day even better than what it would have been while travelling in a car with dad. when I was younger I didn't understand what a great job my mum was doing and I took it for granted, but she still keeps doing her, for me! to this day, my mother gets a present on Mother's Day and Father's Day so she knows that I will never take her love for granted and so she know that I am awear of all the effort she puts in to being my mum. Mother, father, and best friend all in one. what more could you want?
My mum is a kick arse mum because, Her first pregnancy nearly killed her and so did her later three! But that never stopped her, She's incredible! Even with the divorce of my parents, My Mum stayed strong, she had some really tough times and challenges, Which her bioploar contributed to. But she stills cares for us no matter what. She's has many jobs, battling mean employers and house problems, But she never stops working to keep us safe, cared for and feel loved.
I'm very proud of my mum and everything she accomplished and is still fighting for.
She deserves something sweet on Mother's Day and seeing as I was let go at my job, I'm scared I can get her anything. This would be amazing for her and sentimental because this is the chocolate we ate through a couple tough times, seeing as I can't eat dairy.
Thank you for reading this, xx Georgia.
My mum is kick arse because she's 50 and ready for positive change in all aspects of her life and found her passion in cooking and keeping up to date on her Instagram page to inspire others to eat well and get creative!
Like many women she has definitely gone through a lot and still can choose to look at the positive. She is inspired by other empowering women of today to be strong and work on herself, and leave a positive impact.
She is working towards being an entrepreneur and I am definitely inspired by her and all the other people/companies really making an impact and respecting the food and resources of our world.
thankyou loving earth for your positive impact
what women like my mum have done forever is taking a good amount of theirs years on this earth to raise children and to be a loving partner, daughter and friend. its so inspiring how she has remained young and creative in her retirement years which are some of the busiest years of her life.. she pulled herself out of credit card debt, became a vegan and has really started taking care of herself: yoga, walking and meditation, diet and peace of mind are all helping her light shine brighter and brighter. she is a huge inspiration to younger women at her uni and to her friends family members. she is a supermum but not in the totally organised and immaculate way, she is super in her humble human ways and is down to earth breathing and living on this earth.
I know I am still lucky to have my mum of 80. She hands out unsolicited advice just like she did when I was a kid and expected to heed it and I wouldn't have her any other way. Thank (I think) mum xx
My mum kicks arse cause she is so accepting of everyone. I love her because she exhibits an unconditional love no matter what we want to pursue and not to mention she is always happy to watch the next episode of Keeping up with the kardashians with me :)
MY MUM IS KICK ARSE because she supports me no matter what, even going plant-based with me! We've been this way for over one and a half years and when anyone questions our diet, she politely informs them with the facts and the science... all the research she has done basically makes her an expert! How can you get more devoted than that!?! Mum helps give me confidence in the way I live my life everyday and I couldn't be more thankful for the love and strength she offers. It's amazing to know someone believes in the person you are becoming so much, that they give you faith whenever you have doubts ... My mumma deserves to be spoilt not just on Mothers Day, but every other day of the year as well! I have so much love for this KICK ARSE honey who is OWNING motherhood xxx
My Mummy is the healthiest person I know. She's awesome because she trains everday at Savvy Fitness. I love her so much. Cooper. 7 Years Old.
My mum is so lovely and kind, she has done everything for me and always helps me when I need. She loves what she does, prepared us delicious dinners and comes with me to the dentist when I'm scared. She knows me so well and can understand when I'm in need of some chai tea - it's just her natural instinct like that, like a mama koala who always keeps her baby on her back out of trouble. My mum definitely deserves this chocolate pack to keep her grooving and moving just as a little sweet energy booster, so she can keep her dancing pants on to the music that is life.
My mum is kick arse because she lead by example! She taught me not to care about my appearance so much as to take care of my body, she did this through having a healthy lifestyle herself, eating great organic food and feeding us healthy meals. She wasn't afraid to take us to the shop in her PJs with no make up on to grab some apples for our lunch. She showed me that it's more important to like yourself and to treat others with infinite patience. Kick arse mums are all about leading by example
Between a full time office job and managing three kids on her own, my mum for sure makes it as the number one arse kicking mum. She's my dictionary, calculator, wikipedia, and diary all in one! I can talk to her about anything! She even joined me in the vegan lifestyle 8 months ago and we love to enjoy your chocolates as massive treats on special occasions (she's gotta be a raspberry kinda gal as she scoffs it down mighty quick). I love her with all my heart and would like to give her all the loving earth chocolate in the world!
My mum is great because even though she has had a hard life and everything feels like it is caving in, she stills put her children before herself which I appreciate even though she must look after herself just as equally. If I could get her something as amazing as this prize for mother's day I know that she will be reminded how much I love her, because I am her teenage daughter and sometimes it seems like I am not showing the love that she deserves. I just know getting her chocolate will be a part of making up everything that I owe her.
My mum is kick arse because she is selfless. She has time for those that need her, no matter what hour of the day. Her love extends beyond her immediate family and she is incredibly empathetic. She has/is battling through the loss of a child, and she kicked breast cancer in the butt!
Part of me is a huge part of her, and I am grateful for that. I love her so much, and I can't wait to give her a big hug next time I see her.
My mum died when I was little, but without grandma (mum's mum) I wouldn't be who I am today. She nurtured my brother and I and made sure we were always looked after. She sure is a hazelnut mylk chocolate as she has a large groups of friends and family and her house has become so iconic for the events she would throw. She is also a salted caramel chocolate when it comes to travels, just recently she spent 3 months in Paris travelling around, the year before she did different parts of Europe she hasn't been to and also America. She is loved by all and is the strongest person out and I love her dearly.
My mum is awesome because she had me and im awesome! So happy to be exactly like her in everyway and know I will be just as awesome to my daughters!
My mum is 100% Creamy Coconut Mylk, which is fitting because that is her favourite chocolate flavour! I love going to visit and trawling her fridge and pantry for delicious baked things or farmers market finds, but I also love when she comes to visit me and brings me lovely supplies like preserved lemons, tomato relish and dukkah (all home made of course!). She inspires me to take the time to fully appreciate the cooking process and the ingredients, and be a better cook and a better person :)
For all the little things she does. Like leaving encouraging notes on our pillows, baking cakes and cookies for us, timing them so that they are still warm when we get home to have one. Just being there. She does all this whilst battling her 'invisible illnesses' including chronic fatigue, so whilst she may not be able to be out there conquering the corporate world, she's still an absolute achiever in her own right. She inspires us each and everyday, and that, that is kick-ass.
Mum is kick arse because she always wants us to be the best person we can possibly be. My siblings and I are very involved with dancing so you could say she is a bit of a dance mum, but not a crazy one! She supports us 100% with dancing! This means she is ALWAYS there to watch us perform and when extra special classes are available she has our names signed down in a heartbeat. She loves watching us dance and always tells us how proud she is of us. My mum is the most supportive mum ever! She is there for me when I rise and when I fall and she always gives me the best advice to help me through my struggles. Without my mum, I wouldn't be the dancer I am today. That's why I would love to win this hamper to say thank you to my mum for all the support and love she has given us.
My mum is kick ass because she raised me as a strong and idependant young woman. She always encouraged me to follow my passions and to stand up for what I believe in and for what is right in the world. She is loving and earthy and oh so sweet and definitely a caramel chocolate kind of girl.
My mum is kick arse because she has made my siblings and I into the people we are today. She works full time yet always makes sure that we make it to everywhere we need to be and even on the weekends she only stops to allow herself the pleasure of baking. She has taught us how to love, be kind to everyone, be accepting, be fair and all of the manners that one could possibly need in the world! She loves us more than anything and always puts us before herslef and for that we will always love her to the moon and back!
She has always encouraged us to do whatever we want in the world even though she tears up at the thought of us growing up too fast or anyone going overseas. She can hardly believe that her youngest just turned 10 and her oldest is about to graduate!
Our mum is amazing, as all mums are, but if she could have just a little bit of luxury or something nice for herself - heaven knows she deserves it - then she would have the opportunity to stop and take a break so that she could glow like the exceptional human being she is. Xx
My mama kicks ass cos she is staying an extra two days in SA so I can have a child free over night at a friends party this weekend. Then at 78 it's off along the nullabor with he caravan back to WA. At 78 this is a solid effort!!
I honestly couldn't have asked for a better mum. She works 4 jobs, 2 of which are volunteering for charity groups and 1 is being a mum. Mum has guided me and my sisters through thick and thin, taught us everything that school doesn't and helped us achieve so many great things. My mum kicks ass at everything she does whether it be cooking, playing tennis or just supporting me and my sisters. I can't wait to run the Mother's Day classic with her, then watch her possibly eat some loving earth chocolate and just thank her for everything. To the world, she is my mother but to me and my family, she is my world.
Like your mandarin flavour my mum is quite spiritual so the poor thing keeps picking up and getting these terrible pains have in my back. I guess my mum really takes one for the team so I think she's pretty deserving of a 'whoops sorry mum- here's a beautiful gift' Mother's Day present :)
My mum is fiercely loyal! And selfless! Since having my own bub last year I keep being more and more amazed by her and her selflessness.
My mum is kickass because even though my dad left her for a family friend she was able to pick herself up and get her life back on track. Through hard times she put others before herself and is always there for me when I need her. Plus she does my washing from time to time. I love her from here to the end of the universe and back!
My mum is kick arse because she has helped me and my siblings grow into the people we are today. She works full time but always makes sure that we make it to everywhere we need to be and even on the weekends she only stops to allow herself the pleasure of baking. She has taught us how to love, be kind to everyone, be accepting, be fair and all the manners that one could possibly need in the world! She loves us more than anything else and we love her to the moon and back as well. She tears up at the thought of any of us growing up too fast or going overseas, she can't believe her youngest just turned 10 and her oldest is about to graduate!
My mum is amazing, just as all mums out there are, but if she could have a little bit of luxury or something nice for herself - heaven knows she deserves it - then she would have a chance to take a break and glow like the exceptional human being she is. Xx
I've been trying to think how I can tell you how kick-arse my mum is, the truth is that there are just so many reasons! My mum is everything I hope one day I could be, smart, loving, caring, passionate, driven, smart and strong. I love that she started going me at the gym a few years ago announcing she'll never be able to lift heavy weights and now she's absolutely kicking-arse and lifting all the weights! I'm so proud of her!
My Mumma ❤️
She has never been my own and yet I couldn't be more proud. She has been mum to not only me and my sisters but has filled a stand in mother role for so many people over many years. Not everyone knows that she lives in constant pain with chronic kidney disease and yet she gives and gives and gives. So many people who have lost their mum, live far from their mum, have broken relationship with their mum or are going through something so rough they could do with a second mum, she has been there, welcomed them into our home and her heart. Many have felt so much love, nurture and refuge with my mum. She has incredible gifts of mercy, hospitality and creativity and is constantly using it to bless and love others. Fiercely loyal, loving, generous and protective. When closing the door would be much easier, my mums door has always remained open.
Thank you mum for being so generous and teaching me love and hospitality like no one else. X
My mum kicks ass because after she had a stroke (very young at 40) she came back fighting. She has never once given up even though having a stroke has put her through hell. She has battled depression due to this, my dad losing his job multiple times. She is in pain every day (and is therefore unable to work herself) but she never stops. She's always on the go and deserves to be recognised for being a great mum (like so many other great mums out there). I'm so proud of how far she has come. I love you mum! Thanks for being our rock.
Every mum deserves one of these packs!!! My mum is amazing because is taught me how to be myself, no matter what! I love her because she is my rock and my best friend :) she deserves to win because I would love to spoil her with this surprise pack which would put a massive smile on her face! She kicks arse everyday showing the world she is herself and proud of it (with a crystal in her pocket ;) )
My mum is composed of every flavour imaginable, with each and every piece of her different to the next. I have never met a more inspirational, loving and devoted person - if she were a chocolate, she would be sold out in minutes.
My mum always believes in me and supports me. She sacrifices so much for me to be happy and makes me feel loved. And she can run 10km with me which I think is pretty kick arse also.
My mum is kick arse because she supports and helps Her family but she also endevours to help others through wise words, guidances Ethical decisions. Each day her smiles can brighten anyones mood! <3
Reading through this blog post brings up so many memories from my childhood. I can see parts of my mum in every type of chocolate there.
Though I noticed a couple that are missed, most importantly,
"the BEST FRIEND Mum"
The one that teaches you that wearing glasses isn't something to be ashamed of, there is nothing wrong with seeking a helping hand- even just by wearing glasses. A mum that teaches you how to put you makeup on, but explaining that exterior beauty does not compare to inner beauty, and that I was beautiful even without makeup. The mum that always tried to understand, even when it was more than impossible to. When I spiralled out of control and sought comfort in an eating disorder. A BMI of 9, my Mum by my side the whole way trying to give me hope, trying to drag me back to life. She stayed by my side even when I turned to self harm to deal with recovery, or suicidal because I thought I couldn't deal with weight gain. She was by my side, holding me up when I took too many panadol, almost lifeless. She stayed by side AND helped my 4 siblings through their mishaps at the same time. My mum is so kickass that she saved my life and my siblings lives time and time again. She is so kickass that when I was recovering she taught me how to love chocolate again. She's so kickass that when I struggle still she reminds me of my love for chocolate.
My mum is the best mum she is always there to comfort me when I'm sad, if I'm sick she will be there to hold my hair back.
she ALWAYS puts others before herself.
She will help me with my homework but knows when to not butt in, she she will have good laugh but knows when to stop.
But among all the inspiring and beautiful qualities my mum has to offer by far my favourite is her way of setting a good example she won't just say to me you should eat ealthy whilst sitting there eating a chocolate bar no she will be there eating vegetables and fruit, this amazing trait of hers got herself to quit proccessed sugar after 8 months of me watching her off it I decided to join her and I thank her so much for that I feel more energised and happy all thanks to my MUMS great example.
My mum! I don't know where to start!! She is the most amazing person that ever walked the planet! I know an exaggeration but so true. She is the only person I can spill my life to, it probably annoys her like crazy but she never shows it. Mum is my one true hero and I hope I grow up to be like her. She is so helpful and caring, the amount of people that use her irritate me so much, but I guess that's because they know how incredible she is!
I didn't have the opportunity to be raised by my birth Mother, as she ran out on my Father and I when I was 6 months old.
My Stepmum however, stepped in and picked up where she left off, accepting me as her own....from her generosity and love - I never missed out.
My Stepmum passed away in a motorcycle accident 3 years ago - but each Mother's Day I still like to remember her and celebrate the Woman and Mother she was to me.
My mum definitely kicks ass. I've been in and out of hospital since Christmas battlling non hodgkin lymphoma ( cancer ). Not only is my mum going through all this with me she is also battlling depression. This is a really difficult time for her and i know she will love and definitely deserves one of these prize packs!
The reason I love my mum is because she is my biggest groupie and #1 fan. She always takes me to festivals and concerts and somehow always manages to get talking to the band. She also makes me really good food when I'm sad and shes the one that fixes everything and uses all the tools in the house. Whoever said women cant use powertools obviously haven't met my mum! She's my best friend and I couldn't ask for a better mum.
Sounds like my mum is a hazelnut mylk kinda lady. She's amazing because she moved half way across the world 15 years ago with 2 kids under the age of 6 to a country where she knew no one at all to give us a better life! Not many if any can do that and it's baaaaad ass.
My mum is a complete kickass cause she isn't just my mother. She's a grown women with a childlike attitude towards life. Not to mention for approval on the topic of 'chocolate day everyday'. That's why she'd love this heaps. With a bit of sugar she can be so fun
To say my mum is KICKASSS would be an understatement! The combo of having someone as both your mother, best friend and idol is truly incomparable, and I truly wish I could express my immense gratitude and love for her through words. Her strength in life through the passing away of the most important man in our lives is insanely admirable, along with her dedication for our family and my dreams of studying here in Australia, across the ditch from home. She enjoys swimming everyday to keep fit and happy through the hereditary diabetes she lives with. This means she is very cautious of her diet and maintaining blood levels, and so she does not often indulge in the high-sugar foods I consume. I know that these amazing treats and chocolates (my personal favourite of salted caramel, but the other few flavours I've tried are pretty much equally ridiculously good) are so good for the heart and high in healthy ingredients, meaning my mum would get to treat herself to the loving earth products that she can not get in New Zealand! I would absolutely be so grateful if I could surprise her with this hamper when she visits me next month.
My mum has been by my side 24/7 while I've been in and out of hospital battling with an eating disorder. She is my absolute rock and best friend ! She has really helped me get through my recovery even on those days where all I would do is scream and try to fight her she was always there . She loves the products you have in your range and I know she would love everything in this hamper prize !
My mum kicks arse by just being my mum. She is the most loving human being, but when it comes to work out she will kick butt. She never gives up and always pushes herself to the limit, sometimes even over. My mum is the strongest woman I know. Mums deserve as much love as they give us so it would be truly amazing if she won this prize because she loves loving earth chocolate. Her name is even Donna! Just like the Donna hay book my mum loves to cook, plus she spray tans people with that Eco tan!! Everything in that prize will be dearly loved and cherished by my mum. Love you mum ❤️❤️ Best wishes everyone!
My mum is super kick ass! Trying to figure out which chocolate description is my mum was so hard because each one fits her so well!! She is the great cook mum; she makes the BEST lasagne and pesto pasta and has figured out how to make them vegan for me too! She is the capable mu;, she knows how to fix so many things because my dad and she lived in a 'hut on a hill', completely off the grid, without power or running water for years before I was born. She is the arty mum; she is actually a graphic designer and illustrator so this is so her! But it also meant that I always had the coolest themed birthday parties with amazing decorations and costumes and she always helped me make my assignments look amazing in school! She is the intellectual mum; I don't know where she gets all her fun facts from but she has so many up her sleeve to bring out to teach me about the weirdest things! Maybe she watches a heap of documentaries in her spare time, I don't know. Maybe she just knows because she is a mum. She is the organiser mum; she always organises family lunches and events for holidays and always goes out of her way to make sure there is WAY too much food and everything is the way it should be. She knows exactly what the cousins like to eat, what the aunts don't like to eat and what i can and can't eat! She's on top of it all! She is the professional mum; she has always been very good at her job as a teacher at universities. Her students always refer to her as their uni mum! She is very good at what she does, dresses in all black for the part of a cool arty lecturer and is currently finishing up her PHD! She is the quiet empathetic mum; she always listens to my problems and has some sort of solution. If not a solution she often offers some words of wisdom to help me get through the bad times. She is the fun lazy mum; only sometimes, not always. But she knows when it's an okay time to forget about the dishes and just hang out and do something fun. There were a few times when I've been sad and not having a great day when she would blow off work to hang out with me, make popcorn and watch a movie. She is the fierce mum; I think it's leftover from her punk days in the 70s/80s, she's so not okay with unfair situations effecting people she cares about and if there's something she can do, she'll be there immediately talking (angrily and intimidatingly) to the people involved and trying to solve the injustices that effects the people she cares about! And she is the spiritual mum, she has always been into horoscopes and tarot reading. She got my astrological birth chart made for me when I was born, and always encouraged me when I wanted to do spells as a young teen. She's very superstitious and believes in ghosts, curses and the power of the stars.. (and so do I now).
She is the most loving, caring person and I love that she fits into every single on of these categories. Her personality has so many different aspects, she has so many layers as a mum and every single one loves me and wants the best for me. She is excellent at being a mum and has overcome so much (and still has so much to battle every single day) to be who she is today. I love my mum.
My mum has had a hard life and is dealing with a lot emotionally and physically but she always puts her children before her even though she should look after herself just as equally. Since I am her teenage daughter I don't always show the love that she deserves so sometimes it might seem that I don't care at all about her, but I do and I always have. I just want to be able to show her that I love her which I can't always do, so I know she will just love this hamper but she will still love me anyway even if this isn't her mother's day present since she is just that understanding and caring.
My mum is by far the most dark chocolaty raspberry mother ever!
She gets down and dirty and needs no man!! (But helps my dad every day anyway)
Her imagination is amazing and at times I do fear the tickle monster.
She deserves to win because no matter how many times she gets kicked down she still gets back up again. She is a strong beautiful woman and she has no idea ❤️
My wife is kick ass because she is such an amazing mum to our son Harry. So I am entering this on behalf on my 2 year old son Harry (who is also the biggest chocolate fan I know) so that he can win his mum a delicious prize pack that would bring a smile to her face this Mother's Day. She is pregnant with our second child and is craving all things sweet so this would be perfect. From Harry and Adam :)
Kick ass is the right way to describe my mum.
She is kind and loving and never glum.
Shes laughs so hard that she often cries,
She can tell if I have ever told any silly lies.
I think she is part coconut mylk chocolate because she is a fabulous cook,
One of her favourite things is chocolate while enjoying a good book.
I think she is also part lemon caramel, as she likes to paint and is into art,
She is always looking after her four kids and grandchild, she is such a sweet heart.
Then again she is also caramel with her words of wisdom and care,
She's so thoughtful that she even sometimes still washes my underwear.
I think my mum would love all the choccy flavours by loving earth,
And a beautiful prize pack would show her how much she's worth.
All mothers should be celebrated and told how much they are loved on Mother's Day,
And this is exactly what loving earth chocolate would say!
My mum is a little bit of each chocolate, kind, caring, fierce, loving and determined which makes sense as she loves all the flavours. However she always goes back to dark chocolate, a true do-er, she taught to put up a tent, ride a bike, hike and kayak for days. With all these amazing activities she needs amazing fuel!
My mum is AMAZING! She continues to go out of her way daily to look after her 4 grown daughters and 9 grandchildren anyway she can even though she is currently battling some health issues. She is on a fairly restrictive diet but luckily it includes the beautiful natural ingredients of loving earths products. I would love to win this for her so she can have a delicious treat that she so deserves! Good luck to all the great mums out there xo
Your descriptions would mean I'd have to get my Mum every variety! From back packing across South America and studying Spanish, to spotlessly cleaning my house when I'm unwell, providing endless love to all her Grandchilden, designing kickass piñatas, doing no wrong to the environment...need I go on? She is definitely one of the coolest 70+ year old Mother's out there (yes I am bias). I am blessed to have her in my life ♥.
My mum is a very unique and kind person, she always knows what is best for me and that's why I appreciate her endlessley. She kicks arse in anything she does whether it be cooking the most amazing meals to dominating in a game of tennis. She loves to spend hours on end in the garden and has a special love for nature. My mum has helped me achieve so many of my goals and for that I wish her to have the very best Mother's Day xxx
My Dark & Caramel Chocolate Mum gifted me 4 blocks of Loving Earth Chocolate for Easter this year. That made her the most kick arse mum for sure... but she is also the most loving, selfless, and encouraging woman I know. She is always there for us with open arms, and coffee.
My Mum...
Always makes me smile when she does goofy things
Always tries new things
Supports me in all my choices that I make no matter how silly they may be
Always watches me in my sporting events to cheer and support me
Cooks me delicious meals to eat
Cleans my room for me when I have too many tests and too much schoolwork to do it
Helps me in all me endeavours
The reason that I love my mum so much is because she is exactly like I me!
Love you Mum
My mum is kick-arse as she has had to learn to be kick-arse. Mum used to get walked all over by men but she took control of that and put us kids first. She went from being a stay-at-home mum to putting herself through study; divorcing her husband and being a single mum; remarried and made herself a happy life with my step-dad; volunteering with nuns which led her to a job with a company for 14 years; was made redundant and started her own business which she has just received an award for. She is also the most fun grandma to my two boys as well as to my brothers children. Mum has had to do all of this while developing her now "kick-arse" attitude- a far cry from the young and shy woman she was many years ago. She has shown grace, fortitude and perseverance above all. You're the best, Mum xxxx
My mum is definitely a hybrid of crunchy mixed with caramel chocolate! Since my dad is out of the picture, she's had to work so hard so support my brother and I, working so hard and be a full-time mother. It always amazes me how well she balances the two. She constantly changes her schedule to make sure that my brother and I are cared for. She is so dedicated and special; I can't afford the amount of chocolate she would really deserve on Mother's Day! She is the most glorious, caring, hard-working and funny woman I know and really deserves only the best.
My mum is kick arse 'cos she is gentle and kind
With the biggest heart you will ever find
Who knows exactly what is on my mind
She cooks up feasts for us to dine
and does all the house chores without a whine
She comforts me during hard times and tells me everything is fine
A kick arse Mum she is, and I am so proud she is mine
I would love to treat my mum because she’s my chocaholic best friend,
And forever will be till the very end!
My mum is a kick-ass angel I would have to say,
because she brightens up my world every day.
She helps me fix the things I do wrong,
And encourages always me to smile all day long.
She is strong, positive and brave too,
And she’s always willing to help me and you.
She's there during good and bad times as well,
She my rock by my side so there’s no secret we can’t tell.
She is my cooking inspiration and an awesome human being,
Not one person who knows her would be disagreeing.
My love for my mum is beyond words you see,
She loves not only for me but my whole family!
To this day we do everything together,
And that’s because we are best friends forever!
I think my mum would love this ultimate chocolate mother’s day pack,
To help her get though the pain of just recently hurting her back :(
How can I sum up how kick arse my mum is in one comment? I can't, but I can tell you a few of the very many best qualities about her! She would fly to the moon and back just to see us smile. She always puts our priorities in front of hers because there is no one in the world more important to her than us. She cares for us when we're sick even if it's just a small cold. She only wants the best for us and will fight for us in order for that to happen. She is always ready for the great outdoors and to have quality family bonding time. She is my amazing, extraordinary, wonderful, beautiful mum and I want to treat her with a present she truly deserves.
My mum is a kick arse connector. She makes friends wherever she goes. When she talks to strangers (which is very often!) she will have their life story within 5 minutes! She is also a major chocoholic so this prize would certainly make her happy :)
Kickass definately sums up my mother, she gives 100% in everything she does but is so humble in doing so. She encompasses much of the qualities listed in all of the different chocolates and to point out everything could take a lifetime so instead i will be grateful to all mothers that dedicate their lives to raising children. The list of jobs a mother entails is never ending and will last until she dies. Happy mothers day to all of the incredible woman in the world, without you there is nothing
My mum was a single mum at uni for the first 7 years of my life. She jumped over every obstacle including having no money to even purchase school socks, and now I'm 24 and she is a successful psychologist dedicating every part of herself each day to her clients and others. She faces some of the toughest situations and the most hard done by people and she gives everything to helping them regain their life and find happiness. She has never given up and has been a fantastic mum whilst aiming and working for a life that makes us both so proud. She has also brought me up to live a very healthy and holistic lifestyle and I can thank her for my passion and career in nutrition and wellness. Plus I'm not sure which one of us loves Loving Earth Chocolate more but I'm sure she'll share ;) which is why she is the best mum to me, always selfless, always caring and extremely hard working! She deserves something back!
My Mumma’s definitely kickass, that’s a given!
But my baby-mumma, that’s a whole other level…
She is raising the most loving, gentle, thoughtful & caring boy.
Yet he’s determined, curious, persistent & wise.
She will cock him the most delicious, nutricious & wholesome meals and snacks. From scratch.
She makes cubbys, traintracks, pretend (or actual) cooking & cuddles in bed.
Or goes for bike rides, play wild games at the park & kicks a ball around.
All while following her own dreams & goals.
She is showing an amazing example by doing & saying.
And despite the fact that she sometimes feels like she is not enough…
We could not wish for anyone but her to be our mumma (& partner)!
My mum Trudy has the most amazing sense of humour. She always finds light in the darkness, constantly gives of herself, is amazingly creative at making-do, has her own unique spirit and encourages us all to embrace and nurture our own, is practical, wise and always ready with a smile. She is my mum. My best friend. My hero.
My beautiful mam, is definitely a Caramel, she has the biggest, kindest, warmest heart, she makes me melt. She also has a touch of lemon caramel too! Very artistic and creative, forever making me laugh and smile. Thank you mam for giving me the most amazing upbringing, I'm so proud to be your daughter. Love you x x
Despite the sun, wind or rain, she can make anything grow in her garden. She spends hours on end out there planting pretty things of all shapes, sizes and striking colours. I once read the quote "You have so much light, plants grow towards you" and I think that perfectly describes how my mum kicks butt!
My mum is kick ass because she's a foster Carer through Key Assets for two high needs foster children! I got out of a wheelchair just over 12 months ago so for the three years of endless hospital visits and continued visits, surgery etc she was my biggest cheerleader. I can't remember the last time she put herself first. I feel like sometimes she forgets who she is because she genuinely wants everyone else to be feeling like a superstar. Now I'm getting older and I'm not around as much as I wish I could be I just really do want her to know that I do love her and she's so beautiful inside and out. In case I don't win your wonderful competition where you're giving away twenty 'incredible happy making parcels', I did just make a purchase of some lovely goodies for her. Oah and just quietly your drinking chocolate is heaven! I got it from Flannerys the other day and couldn't help but to now get online your 'Dark Drinking Chocolate' to see if I love it too. In advance if you're a mum Happy Mothers Day to you. xo
My mum is definitely one of your hazelnut mums. She is always running around organising everyone and everything. She has even organised a pamper Mother's day for her mum, sisters and herself at our place. One of these packages would be perfect for my gluten/dairy intolerant, tea drinking Mum's pamper day!
I think my mum is a mixture of caramel and mandarin & gubinge. She's always there to lend her ear, her hand, and her heart. She has a solution to every little problem in life, and although she still bosses my adult self around, I love her to bits and wouldn't have her any other way!
My mum kicks ass by soldiering on she is a chronic back pain sufferer and currently is in hospital and had to undergo emergency surgery to fix kidney and bowel problem, but still manages to make me feel special with calls and texts ❤️
My mum is kickass because she has features from all the "flavours", she can put up a tent better than any guy and will always whip up the best pumpkin scones just at the right time!
I perused through each and every category of chocolate-mother correlations and I found myself in quite a pickle. You see, not to be boastful but instead grateful, my beautiful mother falls into a few categories pretty effortlessly. She makes my world as sweet as caramel just by being in it. She is tough as nails - real minty with her strong work ethic and career-oriented brain - yet as soft as a bar of creamy coconut mylk. She is mandarin & gubinge when revelling in the glory of her Turkish dream encyclopaedias yet strong and level-headed as the 85% dark. Mum, you are my world, you gave me stability and strength in this crazy, dysfunctional world. You are my queen and I love you to bits. Happy Mother's Day mama!
My mum definitely fits the first 3 descriptions, loves cooking, loves getting her hands dirty and is actually great at poetry, but her main passion was photography, now she takes care of my grandparents full time because of their health issues. In her free time she grows plants and veggies on her farm and makes yummy foods.
But mainly, she's resilient, not just with the day to day stuff, but with everything she's been through, she's one tough cookie. She would love this pack for mothers day. It would be a blessing to win.
My mum- a hazelnut raspberry caramel chocolate mum. She died 11 years ago but she was so kickass that even after all that time and so much missing her I never forget how much she loved me and believed in me.
My mum is so bad ass for many reasons, one being that she raised me all by herself while still managing to work full time. One time when I was seventeen and working in retail my boss refused to pay me the hours I had worked because there was no proof, so I went home and cried and my mum went back and told the boss that I did in fact work those hours and before we could get back into the car park to go back home the boss called me up and apologized to me saying that the money would be in my account by tomorrow. My mum pushed me to be a better person and teaches me to stick up for myself but also to choose my battles. This is why my mum is the most kick ass.
My Mum is kickass for lots of reasons. Most recently because she travelled 5 hours to help me clean a house to pass my end of lease inspection. Plus she's probably fitter than me, so that's pretty kickass. Love my Mum.
My beauty of a mum is everything I aspire to be: strong, compassionate, selfless, funny, smart, and effortlessly beautiful. She kicks so much but and is my biggest role model. Love you forever mum !
How to sum up how kick ass my mum is? For starters, my mother is a single mum with a disability meaning she was never able to obtain employment when i was growing up. It was always just me, mum and my sister living in apartments always onthe move. My mum managed to raise my sister and i on her own with no job and only one arm, she taught us how to respwct others and ourselves, she taight us to never give up when things didnt work out, she encouraged us to read novels, write stories and use our brains, not our looks. She encouraged us to be creative, she is an artist herself so we were always painting and drawing and making! The main thing that makes me believe my mum is the MOST kick ass? She brought my sister and i up to never settle for less than we deserved and and probided for us our whole lives (and still does) so we can have the opportunities she didnt have when she was young. The coolest thing about my mum is even though she was born with one arm, she can do everything any mum with two arms can do and BETTER. (My mum is a CHOCOHOLIC so if i was awarded with a choccie hamper i think she would be over the moon)
My mum is kickass because she is always putting others before her self, puts up with the silly nick names I give her and is the most inspiring person I know. If I ever become a mum I will be pleased if I'm half as good as she is. I also inherited her chocolate addiction which I wouldn't change for anything so that's another reason why she is the best mum ever! Xx :)
My mum kicks arse as she is the sole carer for my chronically unwell father and she still manages to work part time and go to the gym! I hope I inherited her strength!
My mum's kick ass because she is fitter and stronger than any woman I know, mentally and physically. She always has my back and I will always have hers. I'm so inspired by her determination to climb mountains, run marathons and travel the world. Most amazing person I know!
My mum shares her auora of love everywhere she goes.
My mum is definitely a MANDARIN & GUBINGE. She is eccentric, peaceful and has never stuck to the rules in her life. Her attitude gives me so freedom to be who I want to be and I love that about the family she has created for us.
My amazing mum is kickass because she is a perfectly balanced combination of all the chocolates rolled into one! She is a doting and loving mum to 3 and grandma to 3. She spreads her love wherever she goes and is always there to support us in day to day life and times of need. When i was told I was so sick that my organs were in danger of shutting down due to anorexia nervosa my mum stopped working and made it her mission to help and heal me. I avoided hospital because of her and fully recovered to my now healthy and happy self. I owe my mum my life and she is kickass because she never gave up on me and is a shining, strong, fantastic, powerful woman
My mum is amazing! Throughout my entire childhood and still to this day, despite all the problems she's faced financially, emotionally and physically she has still always looked out for me and been there for me. Even while dealing with depression she always stuck by me and looked after me and made sure I had an incredible childhood in which I always felt loved and cared for. She made me french toast on Saturday mornings and threw me the most amazing birthday parties as a child! She is the perfect mum because she's never held any of my dumb decisions or choices against me and always been there for me in any way I need whenever I need. She loves me unconditionally and I know that, and I love her too. That's why she's such a good mama bear.
My mum is a kick arse Hazelnut with just the right amount of Creamy Coconut and Coconut Mylk...and a little bit of Caramel. But aside from being a chocolate lover, Mum is care, compassion and the core of our family.
My mom is a mix of caramel and raspberry (our fav flavored actually) and some 85% dark fierceness! She's a big kid, your best friend and loyal to a fault!
And I'm definitely a mint/raspberry mum :) I'll choose those before my sons old enough to speak hehe
My mum is a total kick-arse
She dresses with utter chic-class
She's top of the list
Number one - get the gist?
The others all get the flick-pass!
My mum would have to be Dark and Mint! A few years ago she was diagnosed with breast cancer and had to have 2 surgeries and a round of chemotherapy. She was in and out of hospital for months and had to have a mastectomy to lessen the chance of it coming back, she is now clear of cancer and happy. The biggest stand out to me during the chemotherapy would have to be when her temperature spiked so high that she had to be rushed to hospital otherwise she could die from overheating. The very next day though, she rang me and asked me to make sure I remembered to bring her work laptop in, because she wanted to keep working on her clients accounts (she's a financial and business counsellor and also an accountant). That just impressed me beyond belief! here's my mum who's so sick she can barely walk yet she continued to work on her own business and also the not for profit business she's CEO of! She definitely didn't let cancer stop her! Mum is the most kick ass, brave and pioneering person I know and I wish I could give her all that she deserves!
"mum what makes you kick arse?" I asked my mum and without a moment to even think she responded "My fierce desire to protect my children".
that is love. she is the best mum out.
I recently had my first child, and my Mother - although she has arthritis which can be pretty debilitating at times, insisted on doing washing for my family, cooking meals, doing grocery runs etc. It was incredibly kind.
My mum (who has always been the 'cool' mum) is kick-arse because she's always been so strong and true to herself, and every day I'm inspired by her strength, her way of looking at things, and the beauty of her character. She's also full of fascinating facts and stories, and through that she inspires me to be curious and to always seek to learn more. She's always been so supportive of everything I do, and I truly couldn't ask for a better, more awesome mum ❤️
My mom is what you see in the dictionary when you look up love. She has huge unconditional amounts of it for everyone. She's almost 70 and has flown half way around the world every time we've had a baby to help us out. And she's about to do it for a 3rd time this year!!! She defenitely deserves (and can probably use) some awesome chocolate when she arrives :)
My mum raised two girls primarily on her own, and could balance working full time, supporting us, and teaching my sister and I all about space and history! Very resilient, compassionate, and hilarious - especially when she decides to do karaoke. Love you Mum x
My mum is the most kick ass mum because it doesn't matter what time of day or night it is, she is always there for me and will always answer the phone and drop everything if I need help. I'm so grateful to have such an amazing mum!
As well as being a raspberry mum, my mum is kickass because she inspires me to respect myself. Respect my body by fuelling it with amazing quality foods. Respect my choices and morals and to respect myself as a woman. To be strong and know my worth. I'm so lucky that I have a mother who encourages me to lead a happy and healthy lifestyle. Thanks for giving me an opportunity to reflect on that :)
A professional and highly supportive mother of three, at the age of 53 my mum just walked 55kms as part of Coastrek, and her next stop is the Inca trail. #nostoppingher.
my mum is the best ever for so many reasons. I am her only child, and I live in the uk (LOVING THAT YOUR PRODUCTS ARE NOW AVAILABLE HERE!!!!) and she spends all her holidays flying over to stay with me and help me with my kids and give me a break. She works her entire holiday, washing and cooking and ironing, only to make the trip back to Australia and go right back to her job. She is the best. I miss her so badly.
My mum and I are actually long distance right now, and have been for about 2 years now. Though it gets so hard to be away from her, she doesn't fail to always be there for me no matter what -encouraging, supporting, pushing me forward, making me strive towards my dream, never letting me be afraid to dream bigger and higher! While always taking care of me and my siblings, like many other mums, her needs are always pushed to the back burner. This mother's day I want her to feel pampered again because she deserves it more than anyone else! <3
My mum kicks arse! She raised 3 children all on her own without any help from anyone and those children have turned out to be the most beautiful people just like her! She battles arthritis everyday among other health issues but still goes to work everyday so that her children can have the most in life. She's a true inspiration
The hazelnut one. A highly organized mum!! :-)
My Mum has devoted her life to her 6 children. She is completely selfless and gave up her career as a midwife to raise us and ensure she is always there when we need her. She is my shoulder to cry on, my listener, my biggest fan, and my best friend. She is this to all five of my siblings. For this, my MUM is KICKASS!
Love you mum :)
You only get one mum! And after having children of my own I now appreciate her even more, I think she deserves a basket of happiness because my mum is so selfless she said to forget about Mother's Day as we are mums now no need to celebrate her. I know I have a special mum and would like to show her!
My mum kicks arse because at 45 she started her own business which provided for our family so much. Then at 60 she changed careers all together after she became ill which meant we had to close our. She went back to studying to become a medical coder and now know so much about the human body and what can go wrong with it that it blows my mind. she kicks arse she has elements of all the mums you represented with your chocolates. She has taught me so much and supported me through some incredibly tough things. I truly would not be here if it weren't for her and that's not just because she grew and birthed me. This year she is planning on walking a 800+km pilgrimage in the Pyrenees! At 63 I think that kicks major arse!
My Ma, Robby is a kickass cook! Her Sunday dinners are next level and there is always baking in the cupboard when I visit. Such a treat! She's definitely the Loving Earth Creamy Coconut.
My mum is awesome because she is incredibly selfless and has raised 6 kids! She is also the hardest worker I know! Works full time and helps me out with my kids so I can go to work too. I would not be able to function the way I do without her :)
Hello I just wanted to say thank you for the gorgeous chocolates you sell I have them all the time ans just cannot get enough so THANK YOU!
My mum is the most amazing, beautiful, brave inspiring, warm, courageous, kind, thoughtful, most brilliant lady I have ever met.
She's hasn't sky dived or hiked the Zahara or climbed Mt Everest or done anything really outrageous. But in her own way she has changed the lives of many people. She is a counsellor and works extremely hard but she always makes time for me and my sister whenever I'm sad about school or about anything really, she gives me a big hug and we talk for hours, she always helps me wipe away my tears even if she is feeling sad to.She has this nack of making a room so cold and empty into a lovely homey place.
She always pushes me to do things and doesn't let me back out because I'm scared.
And she's not just loving to me but all her, friends, family, patients and just about anybody around her.
If ever there is someone in need she is first one to help.Often if there is a crying baby and the mother is struggling she will be right over their nursing the baby before we even notice.
My cousin once said "Caring is her passion" I know it's corny but it's true.
She also has this amazing laugh which makes everyone feel warm inside.
She also loves and I mean LOVES chocolate she is forever stealing mine haha.
So yes I know she's not some savior of the world she's just an ordinary woman but to me she is my savior.
Facing her second health battle she has never complained, thanks everyone who treats her and keeps such a positive attitude. Her strength is an inspiration to us all.
My beautiful mum is definitely a caramel, she has the biggest, kindest, warmest heart, she makes me melt! She also has a touch of lemon caramel too! Very artistic and creative, and hilarious too! Love you Ma x x
Her homemade lasagna and chocolate self saucing pudding! Also that she is never afraid of a challenge and is always there to listen and help take stress away!
My mum is the most supportive person I know! she drives me over 4 hours twice a week, on top of running her own business, just so I can go to rehearsals and live my dreams. She's the most caring person, she's so smart and so loving and she's the kind of person I want to grow into. I love her to bits!
My mum is kick-arse for enough reasons to write three books about! But her ability to be on the other end of a phone and still make me feel like I'm being hugged, that's what is standing out for me :)
My mum is kickass.... Simply because she is herself - she is the most caring, loving, humble, selfless, crazy and hilarious person I have ever met!
Just like your Mandarin & Gubinge chocolate, my mum is spiritual and absolutely amazing. She's made our house a home by surrounding us with gorgeous crystals, essential oils and of course, happiness. With out her neither my sister or I would know how to be the best versions of our selves and for that, I am very thankful to have her. To me she is the most kick-ass, intelligent and gorgeous mother any one could ever ask for.
My mum has the biggest heart, is really good at keeping in touch with friends, super sociable, very generous and running around all the time, doing lots of stuff. Her Happiness is contagious!
My mum is kickarse because she has had 12 kids (4 sets of twins). Then at 35 years (with 10 kids, she had the youngest two whilst studying) she decided she wanted to do medicine and has since graduated and is now studying psychiatry and medical law! In between all this she makes times for all of her kids and is very involved with our lives and makes sure we are in a good place and will do anything to support us. She is a super mum and I can only hope I'm half the woman she is!
My Mum kicks ass on a daily basis! She cycles 100s of kilometres a week, cooks scrumptious meals, advocates for women's health, knits, sews, and never stops learning new things. She is currently in France with Dad and their mates celebrating turning 60 by cycling all over France and Belgium.
My mum is the most kick arse mum out there. She's the most awesome cook out there, both sweet and savory (she loves using Loving Earth in her sweets, can't complain there!). She's super fit and healthy for her age (she even does boxing), and is a kick arse person all round. Everyone loves here and she deserves a pampering. xx
My mum isnt only kick arse herself, but she has also kicked stroke's arse! 3 years ago my mum had a stroke and she lost her ability to talk properly, her right side is paralysed and her cognitive processes were also affected. However my mum never gave up! When she had her stroke she was going to have another one in 20 minutes, I could have lost her but I didn't. My mum is determined and hopeful that she will recover. She is now able to say her name and names of other things like foods and places. Even though her right side is paralysed, she can now walk and do simple daily activities. I am so proud of my mum for never giving up and always staying determined to recover. The best thing is that she always has a smile on her face! She doesn't let her weaknesses stop her from having fun. But the most important thing that makes her kick arse is that despite her stroke she still hasn't stopped fulfilling her duties as a mum. When she should be focusing on herself and recovering, she gives me more importance instead and puts my needs in front of hers. My mum is not only kick arse, she's strong, beautiful, compassionate and shes a warrior! I love my mum so much and I think she deserves the best mothers day ever. She's really health conscious now and she cares about the environment as well, this hamper would be so perfect for her and it would give her a huge smile!
Wow! So similar to me! My mum also had a stroke. Hope your mum is better now. She sounds as awesome as mine! Such inspirations after going through something so hard! x
My Mum is absolutely kick ass because not only did she raise me as a single parent, giving her whole life to provide for me and make sure I had everything I need, she also met that perfect balance between being my Mum and being my friend.
I am now an adult and I share everything with her, she is my rock and the one person that I know will be there for me when I need someone.
I owe my compassion, and my kindness to her, and I would love to be able to repay her for everything she's done for me this year, starting with some of her favourite loving earth chocolates that she's always stealing from me.
My mother encompasses the essence of human nature at its finest. Kind , caring, compassionate and selfless are just some of her great attributes but definately not all of them . She not only motivates me to be a better person day in and out but teaches me to aspire to be my happiest and to stay content and grateful with everything in life . To others she is just a mother but to me she is my world and my reason for breathing.
My mum Trudy has the greatest sense of humour. She always finds light in the darkest moments for herself and others, constantly gives to anyone in need, is awesome at making-do with a creative flair, has her own unique spirit and encourages everyone to embrace their own. She is all heart, laughter and practical wisdom. She is my hero.
My mum is completely kick ass! She has left her life here in chch to support my sister in a different city fight cancer! She has been away for months and won't be home for a long time yet! She is kind, caring and would give the shirt off her back without question! Xx love you mum
My mum kicks arse because she sends me home-made vegan cookies at uni even when my family is not vegan! she is definitely the capable mum, doing all the D.I.Y and dark happens to be her favourite chocolate too!
My mums kick arse because she sometimes works up to 4 jobs at a time to not only support herself but to also help my sister and i at uni and mostly puts us first when we need help instead of herself. She goes without a lot of the things she needs so that my sister and i can live a life that will hopefully make her proud and make all she's sacrificed worth it.
I lost my mum at a very young age, so did my sister. While my mum was kick ass, I also think my sister, a single mum to a beautiful 4 year old, is kick ass too. I know I'm just her sister, but she's been there for me a lot over the years, just like a second mum. She's also an amazing mum to my niece, so bonus points for her.
My mum is kickass because she is the strongest, kindness and generous person I know. I was involved in a car accident 3 weeks ago and she has been my rock. She has cooked for me, cared for me, listened to me, cried with me and done everything in her power to make my life easier. She is a saint and expects nothing in return. She deserves a special suprise. I would love for her to be spoilt.
Heroic mum,
Losing the person closest to my mum was tough for her. She put all her children first and still encouraged us to venture out into our own paths, although knowing our company would be something she needed most. My mums is brave and beautiful, she's a fighter and an idol. She's showing us daily how to be a true hero.
I don't have anything to do with my real mum but the person I consider my mum is not only my mum but the mother figure for all the kids in her life & she definitely deserves this more than anyone. She is so selfless & always thinks of everyone else before her self. She has the most beautiful kind caring soul & she completely changed my life & everyone else's who she comes in contact with from the unconditional love she gives & she gave me a new meaning for how a mum is meant to be! Can't thank her enough but a lovely hamper filled with goodies would help!
My mum is kick arse because the last 18 months she's had to deal with my Dad (husband of just gone 20 years) leaving her for another woman only 6 years older then his first daughter. She gets up everyday and deals with life when it's kicked her down. Her strength, commitment and effort to get through everyday inspires me so much. She is amazing, she is now putting herself first and focusing on her two kids, me being the oldest and my younger brother. She is the best and I hope to be just as good as a mother as she is one day. I love you mum xxx
My dad has taken over the mum roll in our household as my mum died when we were only little! He raised both my sister & I by himself, with no help for the last 15 years. He is amazing and I don't know how he does it!
My mum is a kickass mum because she raised both me and my brother as a single parent she done everything she could do to provide my brother and I with everything we needed and more. I'll always respect and love my mum for giving my brother and I the best up bringing she could.
My mum is definetly a lemon caramel type of gal! She may not be at home all the time, as she half lives overseas, but she always helps with her creative genius ideas for my needs such as for birthdays, cakes, ideas and costumes! She'll even do a mock item for me to copy if she thinks that's what'll help! I love you mum!
Might have to melt two together because my mum is an 85% Dark with a smidge of caramel! She's fiercely loving and has got me and my brother through the best and worst of times with some top notch power hugs and a serious action plan.
The favourite part about my mum would be her love towards me and my brothers, she's always there for us and up for a talk when we need one to realise how amazing we really are, she has gone through so much an has so much strength in herself she's changed me as a person.
It's hard to explain how kickass my mum is, because there is literally no words to describe the sacrifice and love she has showed especially over the last 2 weeks. I was just released from hospital early following surgery and multiple tests which my mum has been through with me. It shows when the doctors trust a mothers care at home to just be as beneficial as recovering in hospital. There is still a long road for me, and hopefully will have some answers soon to put my mums mind at ease. Wish there was more I could do to show my appreciation which is why it's worth a shot attempting to describe my amazing mother. She is a super mum and combination of all loving earth chocolates, one can't simply define her.
My favourite thing my mother taught me is that a love for chocolate can be more comforting that your best friend on a bad day.
