Salted Caramel and Dark Chocolate Bark

This chocolate bark is perfect for those movie nights on the couch, combing Loving Earth Salted Caramel and Dark Chocolates, along with freeze dried berries and sea salt. Make sure that you save the largest shards of the chocolate bark for yourself. Sometimes sharing isn't all it's cracked up to be ;)

80g Salted Caramel Chocolate
80g Dark Chocolate
1 tbsp Coconut Oil
2-3 freeze dried strawberries, crushed
sprinkle of sea salt flakes

Step 1Place the salted caramel chocolate in one bowl, and the dark chocolate along with the coconut oil, in another.
Step 2Melt each bowl of chocolate, either in the microwave or over a boiling pot of water (make sure it is a steel bowl if you decide to use this method) If you decide to use the microwave, it should take about a minute to a minute and a half to melt each chocolate. Do so in 30 second increments, to ensure that you don’t burn it.
Step 3In a 27cm x 17cm tin, pour the dark chocolate on one side, and the salted caramel chocolate on the other. Using a knife or fork (depending how thick you want to swirls) start on one side of the chocolate, and carry it across to the other side, creating swirls as you go. You will quickly develop a sense for how you want your chocolate bark to look.
Step 4When you are satisfied with the look of the chocolate bark, pop it in the freezer for around 5 minutes – just enough to firm it up a bit. This may take longer if you are in a warm climate.
Step 5Sprinkle the crushed freeze dried strawberries (you can use any dried berries) and the sea salt on top. If you sea salt disappears into the chocolate, it is not yet firm enough. Pop it back in and try again in five minutes.
Step 6Return the chocolate to the freezer and allow to sit for at least an hour. Remove it from the freezer about five minutes before eating. You can store it in the freezer or in the fridge!
